The trigger module acts as an output expander which allows the Flex panel to easily activate and control third party devices such as communicators, CCTV, lighting and access control systems without the need for an additional controller.
Galaxy Flex GSM/GPRS Module
The GSM/GPRS module for Galaxy Flex provides additional communication options for reliable alarm signalling with an alarm receiving centre (ARC). It also allows Galaxy’s Remote Servicing Suite (RSS) to access the panel remotely. Housed directly inside the custom moulded Galaxy Flex control panel, it speeds up installation, reduces the number of boxes and cuts down on cabling. The module can use the GPRS channel or GSM network to signal to the ARC as part of a primary or back up communications path, enabling transmission should one of the paths (e.g. the PSTN line) be tampered with by an intruder.
Galaxy Flex Direct mount RF Portal
This RF Portal module mounts directly into the custom moulded Galaxy Flex control panel housing providing radio functionality inside the panel, reducing the need to cable additional boxes. Using Honeywell’s patented bi-directional radio and agile routing technologies, reliable wireless security becomes possible for all installation types and sizes.

Galaxy Flex offers now offers image sequence verification to confirm alarms, in addition to sequential and audio verification. Using the new ISN3010B4 camera PIR and Honeywell PE 1800IP alarm receiver, the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) receives a sequence of pre- and post- alarm images to distinguish between real and false alarm signals received, thus avoiding penalties and costs associated with false alarms.
